Youth for Human Rights Campaign Nepal (YHRC NEPAL) is a non-profit, non-government and non-political organization established in September 2011 and registered at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu (Regd.No.33/068/069) under the Organization Registration Act 2034. It has been also affiliated with Social Welfare Council (affiliation no. 33109/068/069). It is a rights-based organization actively engaged in the education and promotion of human rights, working particularly among the Youth (in school, colleges and social settings) to promote the respect, recognition and protection of the individual and collective rights and activities at the national level. It has also been engaged for providing the educational program of Human Rights and capacity building (training, workshop, meetings, human rights database building), campaign and urgent appeals, networking and strengthening relationship and make youth aware about it. It has been closely working with National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), National Women Commission (NWC), National Dalit Commission (NDC), Human Rights Cell of Prime Minister Office, Security Agencies, National and International Organizations.

It would be a proud moment for us to see all human being live with dignity and respect. YHRC NEPAL is an NGO works to restore the human dignity and respect in every human being's life through educating human rights. The main focus is awareness on human rights among children and youth because; we consider children and youth are the future of the nation, if we aware them about human rights, the dignity and respect would definitely restore in everyone's lives.  Mainly our programs are focused on educating UDHR's 30s articles to children and youth in schools, colleges and other informal social settings.  Hope everyone stands for us and supports us. Celebrating International Human Rights Day


YHRC NEPAL celebrates 69th International Human Rights Day. On the occasion, had done a wonderful Human Rights WALK in Kathmandu. In the Walk; huge numbers of rights activists, our YHRC NEPAL members, Journalists, Policemen, teacher and students enthusiastically participate to show their solidarity against the Human Rights abuse in the society on Dec. 10, 2017. "Our Rights Our Freedom Always" and "Stands Up for someone's Rights" is the motto for peace and tolerance in the events.

Featuring YHRI Human Rights DVDs among Students


The easy to understand Human Rights DVD showing program is conducted in South Western College, Samakhusi, Kathmandu on March 12, 2016. Around 120 students watch the Human Rights video specially #PSA of UDHR; # 30s Articles. During the time, we lectured the students about the fundamental human rights of UDHR and explored the need in our life. College Administration and the teachers of that college highly appreciated our deeds.

Celebrating International Women's Day

A Human Rights Workshop is done in Santwona College, Minbhawan, Kathmandu. Our Member Binita Giri and her friends conducted the Workshop on the Occasion of International Women’s Day around the 100 students participated. Youth for Human Rights Campaign Nepal, a local NGO initiated to run the program. During the time, YHRI booklets are distributed and DVD is shown as well as lectured focusing on the importance of gender equality and right to life.

Human Rights Workshop

Human Rights Workshop is done among the active YHRC NEPAL volunteer members in Kathmandu on Feb 03, 2016. The workshop is on the subject of spreading YHRI activities in the urban area of Nepal among the children and youth. Most of the members are invited from the far western region in the workshop. They are given idea how to run the programs and conduct human rights activities. Views and ideas are exchanged in the program as well..
